Jared Weber, Attorney at Law

Jared was born and raised in Omaha, NE, and has lived in the Northwest Iowa for over a decade. He graduated from Creighton Law School, in Omaha, NE and prior to law school graduated from Northwest Missouri State, in Maryville, MO. Mixing his urban upbringing, with small town values, Jared prides himself on work ethic, common sense, and his insistence on being a hands-on and reachable lawyer.

Jared has over ten years of proven experience in the court room. Prior to managing Weber Law Office, he clerked with the Federal Public Defenders office in Omaha before serving as the Assistant Sioux County Attorney. From this experience, Jared understands both sides of the law and how best to work to get you the results you deserve.

He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court-Northern District of Iowa and Supreme Court of Iowa. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association Criminal Law Section and the Sioux County Bar Association, serving as a past president. He is a member of Federal Criminal Justice Act panel. He continues his education, regionally and nationally, attending national and Iowa specific trial trainings as well as the most recent legal training updates that keep him on top of changes in the law to best serve you. 

His greatest accomplishment is serving the daily needs of all clients. His representation has taken him from successfully representing criminally accused before a jury to defending the termination of parental rights before the Iowa Supreme Court. Whenever your legal needs arise, Jared will meet you there, providing you the personal and strong representation you deserve.

Jared resides in Orange City, Iowa with his wife and three children. He is active in the community serving on several boards and as a volunteer in several areas.

Julie Hummel, Legal Assistant

Julie graduated from Taylor University in 1993 with a degree Elementary Education with a middle school endorsement.  Well-traveled, she has visited all but 7 of the United States, and lived in 4 of them.

In 2012, she received an accounting degree from Northwestern College, in Orange City, IA, where she resides with her husband and four children.

Julie is integral to the team, with her attention to detail and computation of finite numbers.  She has assisted in numerous white collar criminal cases as well as divorces, and helps in trial preparation and file organization and maintenance.
